Mayor Frank G. Jackson Issues Statement on Trump Administration’s Decision to Dismantle Portions of the Affordable Care Act

Thursday, October 12, 2017

CLEVELAND – Mayor Frank G. Jackson today issued a statement on the Trump administration’s decision to dismantle portions of the Affordable Care Act:

“The Trump administration’s decision to dismantle portions of the Affordable Care Act was wrong,” said Mayor Frank G. Jackson. “This decision threatens the health and safety of families in Cleveland and across the country by offering fewer insurance benefits and protections. We cannot put the lives of our citizens at risk by playing politics and slowly undermining a system built to support millions of Americans. Today, I encourage lawmakers to find creative solutions to expand and not erode affordable healthcare for all.”
