Mayor Frank G. Jackson Releases Statement in Support of Those Impacted by Recent Hurricanes and Natural Disasters

CLEVELAND – Mayor Frank G. Jackson today released a statement in support of the victims of recent hurricanes and natural disasters in the United States, U.S. Territories, and other parts of the world.

“On behalf of the citizens of Cleveland, I want to express my compassion and heartfelt sympathy to the many Americans facing loss and devastation as a result of the hurricanes in Texas, Florida, and the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico. I also extend my sympathies to hurricane victims throughout the Caribbean, as well as those in Mexico and Japan recently struck with large earthquakes. Our city is united, willing and already assisting. This is a time for all of us to come together. Please join me in also extending sympathy to families who lost loved ones and those who are right now struggling with situations that have forever changed their lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.”
