This department provides City employees with services regarding wage and salary administration, benefits, safety and rehabilitation, labor relations, education and research, affirmative action, and health.
It posts open positions and coordinates the hiring of new employees in partnership with the Civil Service Commission.
2010 Spring and Summer Interns
The City of Cleveland is recruiting qualified men and women who are currently enrolled in college for unpaid Spring and Summer internship experiences. In exchange for a commitment of time and professional effort, interns will be rewarded with experiences that enhance their potential to compete locally, regionally, nationally, and globally. Interns will work with a very diverse and highly skilled workforce whose focus is on providing the highest level of public service.
The City of Cleveland offers one of the most varied, dynamic, and active environments for an internship. Those interested in being considered may email a resume and cover letter detailing education, experience, and the type of experience desired, using the word "internship" in the subject line.
