Offensively loud music is against the law. The law defines loud music as
“plainly audible to persons other than those who are in the room in which such device or instrument is played (683.01)”; or “plainly audible to persons other than the occupants of said vehicle (683.02)”.
Police may warn or cite the offenders, and may confiscate the equipment.

Can I receive any bonus points for residency and/or military with the Civil Service exam?
An applicant may receive ten (10) bonus points for residency if he/she has lived in the City of Cleveland for one (1) year prior to signing up for the test. The applicant must show proof of residency by providing the following: Driver's License, Bank statements, Utility Bills, Mortgage release, Insurance Statements.
An applicant may receive five (5) bonus points for military if he/she has actively served in the military and has received an honorable discharge. During sign-up, the applicant must show his/her DD214 discharge papers indicating honorable discharge or for active personnel, have served at least six months and have a letter from their Commanding Officer indicating honorable status.

The police will give a report number to the victim and advise them to contact the city prosecutor. The Prosecutor's office is on the eighth floor of the Justice Center 1300 Ontario and open to the public weekdays from 8 am until noon. What are the Curfew Laws in Cleveland?
