BE OR BEE

Be - verb:

    1. To exist; live: There was a young man who wanted to be an explorer.
    2. To occupy a certain position: My shoes are* in the closet.
    3. To take place: When is** the meeting?
    4. Used as a linking verb: They were*** exhausted. A poodle is** a dog. That pillow was**** mine.
    5. Used as a helping verb to indicate the nature or time of an action: We were*** talking quietly. I was**** taken by surprize. You are* to go home immediately.

     

Bee - noun

    1. A winged insect that gathers pollen and nectar from flowers. Some bees sting.
