Red - noun:

Red - adjective:

Read (red) - verb:

1. To look at and understand the meaning of something that is printed or written: He read the letter he received.



2. To speak out loud something that is printed or written: He read a chapter of the book to the children every day at the Library after school.



3. To learn or find out by reading: Last week I read about the discovery of a chest full of gold coins and jewels in a deserted house.
