SEEM OR SEAM

Seem - verb:

  1. To give the impression of being; appear: She seemed happy with the news. The dog seems friendly.

Seam - noun:

    1. A line formed by joining two edges of cloth or other material: One of the seams in her skirt was coming apart.
    2. A line that resembles a seam: Be careful, that seam in the frozen pond means that the ice is weak.

Seam - verb:

  1. To join with a seam: She is sewing the seam in her dress.
