Which - pronoun

1. What one or ones. The Mayor wanted to know which house was yours.
2. The one or ones. The Mayor said take those which are yours.
3. The thing or animals just mentioned: The movie which I saw was in color.

 

Which - adjective

1. Being what one or ones out of a group: Which coat is yours?
2. Being the thing just mentioned: It started raining, at which point we left the park.

Witch - noun

1. A woman who is thought to have magical powers. The witch was out in the forest looking for her cat.
