Zero tolerance for violence and student misconduct starts with collaborative effort

Cleveland, March 1, 2006 - Mayor Frank G. Jackson will deliver the message that there will be zero tolerance for violence and student misconduct in and around Cleveland's public schools by participating in the Cleveland Municipal School District's (CMSD) Truancy Sweep at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at East High School.

East High School os the Truancy Processing Center for Wednesday's Truancy Sweep, one of the first actions being taken through STRICTLY ENFORCED!, CMSD's new Spring Safety Plan. This collaborative effort involves CMSD, Cleveland Division of Police, and numerous other agencies and was announced by Mayor Jackson in his State of the City Address last week.
