CLEVELAND, March 24, 2006 - Mayor Frank G. Jackson will join the Coalition of Ohio Latinos and the Coalition of Latino Pastors this evening for an Immigration Reform Rally on the steps of Cleveland City Hall at 5:00 PM. Participants will call for immigration reform that respects the dignity and contributions of law-abiding immigrants, as well as the civil liberties important to democracy. The U.S Senate is expected to vote on an immigration reform bill next week. Civil libertarians, faith leaders, business owners, and immigrant rights activists will rally in opposition to the federal legislation.
