CLEVELAND, March 29, 2006- In a continuation of efforts by Mayor Frank G. Jackson
to develop and promote a regional economy, the Mayor announced five new members of his team this afternoon in the Red Room of the Cleveland City Hall.
"We have enormous opportunities to build our economy and deliver quality service to our residents and businesses.
In order to take advantage of these opportunities, we need to have the right team in place. We, in Cleveland, are building a world-class team to ensure our future success
- the team members we are announcing today are highly skilled and experienced, and will offer a combination of fresh perspectives and City Hall know-how", said Mayor
Jackson.
Interim Directors Sharon Dumas and Daryl Rush were sworn in as Finance Director and Director of Community Development respectively.
Brian Reilly was announced as Director of Economic Development , and in two new positions created by Mayor Jackson, Kevin Schmotzer was announced as Executive of Small Business Development and Michael Montgomery was announced as Chief of Regional Development.
