CLEVELAND, April 4, 2006 -
Mayor Frank G. Jackson's Arts & Culture Initiative will present a preview of the local play God Blocked It! on Wednesday, April 5 in the Rotunda of Cleveland City Hall, 601 Lakeside Avenue. Opening remarks will begin at 12:00 p.m., with an excerpt of the play beginning at 12:10 p.m.
The play, an inspirational drama written and directed by Cleveland resident Michael D. Fisher, features local men and women who actively participate in 12-step recovery programs and fellowships and bring real-life experience to the stage. The play will be presented by Miracles, a not-for-profit organization, on Saturday April 15, 2006 and Sunday April 16, 2006 at the Ohio Theater Playhouse Square.
