CLEVELAND, May 18, 2006 -
Mayor Frank G. Jackson, the Cleveland Department of Aging and members of Cleveland City Council will honor 21 senior citizens from Cleveland today at Cleveland’s annual Senior Day Celebration. Events begin at 10:00 AM and will conclude by 2:00 PM. Lunch is provided and there will be entertainment for seniors by seniors. More than 50 vendors and service providers will be on hand to provide information to the more than 1,000 Cleveland seniors who are expected to attend.
