CLEVELAND, May 18, 2006 - The deadline for submitting applications for a vacancy on the Cleveland Municipal School District Board of Education has been extended. Interested parties now have until Monday May 22, 2006 at 12:00 noon to drop off their applications in person at Cleveland City Hall, 601 Lakeside Avenue, Room 227, attention Tracy Martin.

Applicants must be residents of the Cleveland Municipal School District.

Applications can be found at www.city.cleveland.oh.us and www.cmsdnet.net, as well as at any CMSD school, Cleveland recreation centers, and branches of the Cleveland Public Library.

The vacancy was created when Gladys Santiago resigned on May 5, 2006. The unexpired term ends June 30, 2007.
