Mayor Frank G. Jackson to Travel to Rouen France
July 8, 2008 — Today, Mayor Frank G. Jackson will travel to Cleveland’s sister city Rouen, France. The historical relationship between Cleveland and Rouen dates back to World War I. Both cities share the commonality of being port cities and the relationship is rooted in economic development principles and tourism. The relationship between the City of Cleveland and Rouen will be inked by both Mayors during the sister city signing agreement on Thursday morning.
